Bri is a Yoga instructor with 12 years of teaching Hatha, Vinyasa, Slow Flow, breath based movement, Meditation, and inversions. Bri began Hatha Yoga and Meditation at 12 years old as part of her competitive compulsory gymnastics training and began a regular practice again at 18 when she needed cross training for long distance competitive running. Eventually, she became more interested in Yoga as her primary movement discipline and continues to enjoy exploring different styles of Yoga as well as learning more about the roots. She loves being able to offer Yoga to others as a way to connect with themselves and a greater community of other mindful beings. When Bri is not doing Yoga she loves to play piano, learn synthesizer, paint and go deep into nature.
Workshops
Yoga - All Levels
Each Yoga class with be suitable for all levels of practitioner with options to modify or advance poses based on what you need. The intention of each class will be to ground and center yourself in the community of others. As we move through postures with the breath, you will be able to find meditation in your movements so you can feel deeply connected to yourself when you step off the mat.
Handstand Workshop
We will start with a grounding meditation followed by a Yoga Flow that will open and wake up areas of the body that are needed for ease in Handstanding. The second portion of class, we will do focused work with a few individual and partner drills that Bri has found very helpful in her years of learning Handstand through gymnastics, circus arts and Yoga. If you have never done a Handstand but are interested in learning, do not be shy about joining! There will be something for everyone in this workshop. None of the drills are mandatory and all of them can be modified.
